Volunteers wanted for Covid-19 mental health study

15 May 2020

University College London (UCL) is asking Nautilus members to volunteer for its study into the psychological and social effects of Covid-19 in the UK.

The results will be used to understand the effects of the virus and social distancing measures on mental health and loneliness in the UK and to provide weekly data direct to the UK government and NHS, to help make decisions on government response to Covid-19.

Participation involves answering a 10-minute online survey to begin with and then answering a shorter follow-up survey once a week, whilst social isolation measures are in place.

Around 90,000 adults are already taking part in the anonymous study, but many more volunteers are needed.

To take part, visit the Covid-19 Social Study - UK page.

How do i find the results?

Researchers at UCL will be providing open access statistical releases each week. Respondents can sign up to receive these.
